The former president's Family Member Receives Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just stay calm."

"He basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to new audiences, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
